Jen
Bioresonance practitioner 2023
Nursing degree with Hons from Manchester University (2006)
Jen has always had a strong desire to help others, which led her to pursue a career in nursing and work within the NHS. Graduating with Honours in Child Nursing in 2006, she embarked on a fulfilling 17-year career, gaining experience across nearly all areas of NHS nursing. Her roles included working in Community Nursing, busy in-patient ward settings, and specialised hospital clinics.
Her extensive experience in both hospital and community settings has allowed her to care for patients of all ages, from those with acute illnesses to individuals managing chronic conditions, often accompanied by severe fatigue.
“Helping People really is at the centre of everything for me, I have loved advocating for patients and feel privileged helping them achieve the best quality of life and wellbeing they can, despite their health limitations.”
When Caring for People With Extreme Fatigue Became Personal
In 2017, Jen’s life took an unexpected and dramatic turn. Her husband, who had always been fit, strong, and physically active, suddenly became bed-bound, suffering from extreme fatigue. The NHS was unable to provide answers—there was no diagnosis, no treatment plan, and no clear path to recovery. Instead, Jen and her family were simply wished “good luck” in finding something or someone who could help.
With no specialised treatment or useful information available, Jen realised she would have to take matters into her own hands. Determined to help her husband regain his health and return to family life, she began an intensive search for answers.
This journey led her to Gail Sumner, founder of the Chronic Health Recovery Clinic. Gail had extensive experience in treating Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME), Fibromyalgia, and severe fatigue. She also recognised that factors such as diet, viral infections, and environmental influences played a crucial role in the root causes of fatigue. For the first time, Jen found someone who could answer the questions she had been asking for so long.
Working with Gail, Jen and her husband immediately began making changes—adjusting their diet, modifying their home environment, and starting Perrin Technique treatments for CFS/ME. With her medical background, Jen was able to discuss in detail with Gail the biological aspects of fatigue, the effects of toxins on the central nervous system, and the role of nutrition in energy production. The more she learned, the more passionate she became about helping others facing the same struggles. This led to discussions about integrating Bioresonance Therapy into the clinic.
After a year of investigating Bioresonance Therapy as a treatment for ME/CFS, Jen and Gail introduced it to the Chronic Health Recovery Clinic in 2021. They began training in Bioresonance Therapy in 2022 and invested in a Rayocomp PS1000 bioresonance machine to support people suffering from extreme fatigue and viral overload.
In November 2022, Jen began running Bioresonance Therapy sessions at the clinic—and she has never looked back.
Having now left the NHS, she spends her working days at the Chronic Health Recovery Clinic, supporting people like her husband who want to overcome CFS/ME and reclaim their lives. She has witnessed incredible transformations in her clients, helping them identify the root causes of their fatigue and seeing them improve—a process she considers an absolute privilege.
After the first few sessions, I could begin to consider that the improvement was there and I could even dare to believe for the former.
The feedback is immediate, professionally explained and pathways accordingly discussed.
If there was a review system, it would definitely be a 5 star one”
Jen’s deep empathy for her clients stems from her own lived experience of CFS/ME within her family. She understands firsthand the devastating impact of extreme fatigue, and this fuels her passion for helping others regain their health and well-being.
She is also an expert in home detoxification, a crucial step in her husband’s recovery. As a result, she often discusses reducing chemical burdens with her clients, advising them on how to eliminate toxins from their home environments. This is one of her favourite topics, and anyone spending time with her on the Bioresonance Machine will almost certainly hear about it!
Additionally, Jen has been an Essential Oils Therapist for many years and has found them beneficial for everything from green cleaning to symptom management.
Life Outside the Clinic
When she’s not in the clinic, Jen can often be found standing pitch-side, cheering on her two sporty boys—rain or shine. She and her family cherish being able to enjoy the outdoors together again, never taking it for granted.
She loves beach days in the summer and crisp winter walks when the temperature drops. Cooking is another passion, and she prioritises preparing meals from scratch, often chatting with friends or family while busy at her chopping board in the kitchen.
